The Heat is On

Summer fishing is in full swing here around Charleston, SC.  The shallow water redfish have settled into their normal haunts and have started biting quite well on the lower stages of the tides.  Morning low tides have been the best scenario for most numbers of fish caught.  There are a ton of shrimp in the shallow mud flats and the fish show themselves much more visibly when this is the case and the seagulls join the party tipping us off to the fish’ location.  The speckled trout fishing should also continue to improve as we ease our way closer to fall.  Tarpon have fully arrived and their prime time (August-October) is quickly approaching.  There are always options to take advantage of this time of year, so please call or email to book soon!
